Trait

...For, you see, there is nothing in this world that would satisfy me more than to see her content, happy, alive, full. She has always been the person I care for so deeply. And it will always stay that way. No matter what it takes. Even if it means staying in the farthest pew.

Is this person still available? If she's truly happy and living life away from you, then you should quit thinking of her. Move on. Please. For your sake.

Hmmmm.....anonymous might have a point here but if you really wanna know what I think, well, I agree with CurlySue....Maybe what will make her happy, full and alive is being with you....your presence in her life.....you might just be the missing piece in her puzzle ( however corny that might sound)......o di ba!

iella, of course i have a point. if this is the same person that kauban has continued to care about since his younger years (high school years that is), then he should let go.

I agree with Anonymous! Obviously you are just watching out for your friend Kauban here. But, if the one he is referring to is a different person (i.e. ube birthday cake girl) then i would refer to my first comment---what if "what it takes" to make her happy is being with her? I pose it as a question because ultimately it is a choice mr. kauban needs to make.

curly sue, if you are right and i am wrong, by all means kauban should try another style: sit next to her on the same pew!

P.S. I am really hoping that kauban is referring to 'ube bday cake girl' and not who I suspect. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
